Titanium Moms - How do they find time?

Today, I asked this question in my coaching group and my challenge group.

I thought other people could benefit from the input, so here they are:

Jenifer M: I do early mornings, right after she has her morning bottle. I occupy her with something and I put the workout on my laptop so that the tv has something else she is interested in. I also do it from time to time when she takes her first nap.

Lacie C: Wake up extra early to do them during the week and when dad can watch baby on weekends

Kimberly P: So listen, I'm going to be incredibly real with you right now. I work a full-time job, a part-time job, and I'm a beach body coach. I have a 19-month-old son and a very demanding job, and my husband is a volunteer firefighter on top of his regular job. If I am able to make it 30 minutes in my day to making myself healthy, than anyone can do it. Feel free to have them reach out to me I would be happy to tell them the same thing. We all have the same amount of hours in the day, we all are busy, but if it's a priority they can make time for it. I work out in the morning before everyone wakes up.

Lindsey W: I am not a morning person, I have to do it at night after bedtime

Virginia R: I work out after the kids are a sleep at night, it's peaceful and I sleep great when I go to bed. I have 2 kids, my husband works nights, and I rescue horses and buss tables to provide for them. We all have someting to do. If it's important to us we will make time ig not we make excuses.

Kelly N: Morning - Jimmy hits the gym super early then comes home and I workout at home

Heather G: I do mine in the morning before she wakes up but if I can't after work. she has gotten so accustom to me exercising she usually just plays right next to me.

Heather: I'm most successful when I drop my 2 year old off at preschool and my 7 month old is napping in the morning-but that's only 3 days a week and not very likely....soooooo, at night, after they're in bed.

Megan W: I'm home with 2 toddlers that are crazy and my husband works late hours. So time is not on my side. I usually do mine around 6-7 pm. I tell myself it has to be done before dinner and that's my motivation.

Andrea M: Ok so here's my 2 cents. I am a part time working mom of kids aged 4 and 6. I've done the stay at home thing as well. I know sleep is the biggest issue especially when they are little. So when mine were little I worked out at nap time, if they refused to nap I put them in pack n play with toys. I gave up making excuses of what I needed to be doing because it's 30 minutes. And not taking those 30 minutes is not beneficial for anyone. Read happy mom happy family. Now I give up sleep and get up really early which means sometimes I fall asleep at 830 on the couch. But here is the thing pretty much I found I needed to let go if being a Pinterest mom and off all the things I "have to get done" that basically as moms we put on ourselves. This us the same reason i played forts/candy land/my little pony you name it over doing dishes. Because the little things can wait. It's all a balance. I got much better at it after baby #2. And I am also now a better multitasker. And much healthier, thinner and happier for me and my family. Exercise to me makes me a better version of myself - and it forced me to Prioritize what was really actually needing to get done. Because as a mom if you don't take care of yourself you can't take card of others. There's my rant... Sorry. I just here a lot of my own friends saying they can't find time.

Carissa P: I drop my daughter off at prescool and go home workout have shakeo and go to work. If she's home I get her busy doing something, coloring, play dough, etc and workout! It's only 30 min! If I don't do the morning I never can make myself workout at night, so just gotta do it!!

Jillian C: Monday Thursday mornings and I have my 2 year old in the child care. Wednesday Friday nights while my son is at tennis (at the gym) and 2 year old goes to the child care. I work every tuesday and every other weekend, so I typically do not work out those days. I joined a gym that has a great child care.. clean, friendly, attentive ladies/girls. I have my set days and stick to them. Otherwise I would never do it.

Madison B: I HAVE to do it right when I wake up or I won't do it. I had to create a time slot for the workout by waking up 45min earlier everyday. This gives me a chance to have a cup if coffee get my weights and mat out set up DVD etc and press play. When I'm done I till have time left over to shower or just chill untill my kids wake up smile emoticon

Crystal M: Right now I'm doing it mid morning because both kids are either happy or napping at that time. When I go back to work I'll have to play around with either early in the morning, during my prep, or after work once both kids have had snacks and settled in. I just make it a priority daily and don't stress if my rest day doesn't happen to fall on the scheduled rest day because #kidshappen I just try to get 6 workouts in a week

Karla C: I work full time. So I fit them in at 4:30am I've grown use to it. Working and having mommy duties in the evenings leaves me no choice. I have to make the time.

Please share your input in the comments section. The more options, the merrier. I'll likely come back and reference this when the day comes that I'm trying to figure life as a mom out.
